What’s there to do in the Palouse Region? We would need a whole new website (or two) to list all of the worth-while attractions of the Palouse. This is just a small collection of things to see and do. For a more complete listing, we recommend visiting the Moscow Chamber of Commerce, or Pullman Chamber of Commerce.

Moscow Mountain– Breathtaking views of the Palouse, reconnect with your wild side!

Elk Creek Falls Recreation Area– 300 feet of sparkling cascades. (208) 875-1131

University of Idaho Arboretum– “The jewel of the University of Idaho’s lush, landscaped campus is the 63-acre UI Arboretum and Botanical Garden which fills the valley against a backdrop of the tilled, rolling Palouse hills.”

The Chipman Trail– Paved trail between Moscow and Pullman, perfect for a leisurely walk or bike ride surrounded by rolling Palouse hills!

Swimming and Indoor Recreation:

The Hamilton-Lowe Aquatics Center– Fun for the whole family! Perfect summer treat, outdoor aquatic center in Moscow. (208) 882-7665

WSU Student Recreation Center– Swimming pool, fitness center, cardio center, gym, all conveniently tucked away on WSU campus in Pullman. (509) 335-8732

UI Student Recreation Center– 55-feet tall climbing wall and much, much more, located on campus at the University of Idaho! (208) 885-1212

Golf:

The University of Idaho’s Golf Course– Located on the University of Idaho’s campus; enjoy your favorite game while experiencing some of the most beautiful views on the Palouse. 18 hole, Par 72. (208) 885-6171

The WSU Golf Course– Located in Pullman, Washington, experience your favorite game in Cougar country! 9 hole, Par 36. (509) 335-4342

Elks Golf Club– Located just 2 miles east of Moscow, enjoy the Elk’s golf club that is now open to the public! (208) 882-3015

Museums:

Historic McConnell Mansion– Take a step back to 1886 and be a house guest of Idaho’s 3rd governor William McConnell. (208) 882-1004

Appaloosa Horse Museum and Heritage Center– A must see for any horse-lover! Located in Moscow. (208) 882-5578

Perkins House– Victorian-style house built in Colfax in 1886, so much history! (509) 229-3548

Conner Museum– Located on the WSU campus with the largest collection of birds and mammals in the northwest! (509) 335-3515

St. Boniface Catholic Church– Built in 1905, this cathedral still has the original altars, statues, stained glass windows and paintings. Located in Uniontown (about 17 miles) (509) 229-3359
